WEB DESIGN, BRAND STRATEGY, CONTENT + SOCIAL

2017 to present | role: BRAND CONSULTANT + STRATEGIST

When I first met disruptED CEO + Founder, Kate Peiler, she was newly accepted into Div Inc., an Austin-based startup accelerator program that encourages diversity and inclusion. Her first product was in it’s very early stages, and she was still trying to understand her own potential and the message of disruptED. Together, we have worked primarily on brand and marketing strategy, messaging and positioning, and product development, with additional support in the form of web design, social media community management, and creative direction. The team successfully launched their first product in late 2018, the disruptED Starter Kit, which brings AR and VR technology to market for kids through wonderfully illustrated books, making learning interactive and fun.

Web design, creative direction, and social media content curation was done by yours truly. The fabulous Ed Heck is responsible for all illustrations, graphic design and app interface design is by Edna Zayuri, and most featured photos are by Nina Ho. Talk about a powerhouse team!
